In the recently concluded Subaybayani Awards 2023, this municipality has again proven its worth by being adjudged as top overall performer by the DILG, Central Office.

Out of the original eighty-seven municipalities that became finalist, only thirty-five emerged to the top.

DILG Secretary Benjamin C. Abalos, Jr. recognized the efforts of this LGU for its valuable commitment in promoting transparency and accountability in the implementation and management of local projects, exemplifying best Monitoring and Evaluation practices and showcasing dedication to delivering a matino, mahusay at maasahang serbisyo.

The awarding ceremony was held on November 16, 2023 at the Sequoia Hotel Manila Bay, Parañaque City attended by the humble and best performing Municipal Mayor of this municipality, Honorable Engineer Magno A. Wailan, Municipal Engineer Lorna M. Ominga and MLGOO Luzviminda A. Lopez.
